No Around The House login
The app does not require an Around The House username, password, or web dashboard. Purchases are handled through the App Store. If iCloud synchronization is enabled, records use your Apple account rather than a separate Around The House cloud account.
Home documents remain in your control
Manuals, receipts, warranties, photos, notes, and maintenance records can stay connected to the home items they describe without being uploaded to an Around The House web service.
Home records you control
Use core home-record features locally, including offline. The app supports supported reports, CSV exports, and full backup and restore, with files you choose where to keep. Purchases and iCloud sync use Apple’s services and settings. The app sends anonymous usage and crash data to help fix problems, never your records; see the privacy policy for details and how to turn it off.
Privacy still depends on device and sharing choices
Protect access to your Apple devices and Apple account, understand your iCloud settings, and review every record before exporting or sharing it. No storage design removes the need to handle sensitive home information deliberately.
