Privacy Policy

Around The House is designed to keep your home records under your control. Your home items, service history, reminders, photos, documents, warranty details, costs, and reports live on your Apple devices and, when enabled, in your private iCloud account.

No Around The House account

Around The House does not require an Around The House web account or login. Quiet Tools does not operate an Around The House web dashboard for your home records.

iCloud sync

If iCloud is enabled on your device, Around The House may use Apple iCloud and CloudKit to sync your records privately across devices signed into the same Apple Account. Personal sync uses your Apple Account. Review the home information you choose to export or share, and who can access those copies. Maintenance reminders can also be synced to Apple Calendar, where calendar sharing is controlled through Apple.

Data collection

Quiet Tools does not sell your Around The House data and does not use your Around The House records for advertising. We do not collect your home maintenance records on our own servers.

Apple services

Purchases, subscriptions, family sharing behavior, iCloud, crash diagnostics, and app analytics may be handled by Apple according to your device settings and Apple’s policies.

Support requests

If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, screenshots, or diagnostic details. We use that information only to respond to your request and improve the app.

Website and support form

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. Your browser connects to the hosting service to load its pages. We have not added marketing analytics scripts or advertising pixels to this website.

The website support form sends the name, email address, and message you submit through FormSubmit to our support inbox. You can instead email support directly. Support submissions are separate from your locally stored and privately synced app home records; only send information you intend to share with support.
